ConsultantSeas at “Plastique, changement de cap !”

3, 2, 1… action! Join our cameraman as she films ConsultantSeas’ presence at the national “Plastiques, changement de cap !” meeting in Brest on 29 June and 1 July.

Day 1, scene 2!

Following the opening plenary session, Marie Le Texier took part in the 5th Blue Innov Live programme hosted by the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique (PMBA): “Objectif Zéro Plastique en Mer”. Together with the navigator Roland Jourdain, Marie gave both an inspiring introduction and conclusion to the programme. Here is an extract:

“When dealing with a company, it is important to understand that each one has its specificity according to its sector, its size, its position in the value chain. Nevertheless, what can be said about the implementation of solutions is that we always follow the principle of the waste hierarchy”.

By following a fast-track tour of the exhibitors’ area, you will be able to recognise the many players in our ecosystem: solution providers, research laboratories, NGOs, eco-organisations and companies. You will also be able to (re)experience some of the event’s highlights through interviews of the 6 members of the team present. You can virtually visit ConsultantSeas’ stand, where we had the opportunity to meet many visitors and discuss strategies to prevent plastic pollution over coffee.

Multiple footage of conferences, roundtables and pitches illustrate the diversity and complementarity of the themes addressed: recycling issues, tomorrow’s jobs, risks of plastic pollution for the environment and health… A dense programme, which helped us feed our thematic monitoring.

A focus on the round table “Reducing plastic at source”: this subject, a pillar of the waste hierarchy, brought together Marie Le Texier, Béatrice Sommier, a teacher-researcher in marketing and human sciences at Brest Business School, Julien Gallot, a packaging engineer at LigéPack, and Claire Cariou, from the Côte Waste association.

In the credits, we would like to mention in particular Brest’Aim’ team for the organisation of this undeniably successful fair, as well as all our past, present and future partners with whom it was a pleasure to exchange.
